Hello from Kiwifit and happy 2012 to you!

Yes, its that time of the year again, and you find yourself a few kgs heavier, bit unfit, and a big list of new years resolutions, which probably sound a lot like the previous years ones!  Sound familiar??

So why not start the year with a shorter list, but formulate these into action plans.  Get that year planner out and set goals on a monthly basis, put these in your diary and treat them like an important business appointment. SMART GOALS, which stands for Specific, Measureable, Achieveable, Realistic and Tangible.

A few things to keep in mind:

Specific:
Can your goal be broken down into mini goals, or smaller steps?
Measureable: What changes do you need to make in order to achieve your goals; is it emotionally charged; or do you have the energy to reach them?
Accountable: Do you have great goal tracking tools?
Realistic: What are the stumbling blocks, and what obstacles would be in your way to achieve them, and can you overcome them.  What affect will these goals have on friends & family?
Touchable: The outcome, benefit or result?  How will it make you feel once you have achieved these goals?

So food for thought??

Wishing you a great year of positive changes.
